Room Reservations for 2023 Boston Conference

The 2023 conference of the Eastern Psychological Association meeting, will be held at the beautiful Westin Copley Place Hotel in Boston on March 2-4, 2023.  EPA members and guests can register at the special price of $239 (single/double) plus tax.  Rooms at this price are limited, however, and you must book your room before January 31, 2023 to be guaranteed this rate.  Click on the following link to make your reservations:

Research awards
August 24, 2022.  The first three awardees of Stanley J. Weiss Research Awards have been chosen from a competitive pool of applicants.  They are Mr. Daniel Siegel, a graduate student at Brooklyn College, CUNY ($1500 for research materials);  Dr. Han Yin Chen, a postdoctoral student at the University of Vermont ($1500 for research materials); and Ms. Bryana Thieret, an undergraduate student at St. Lawrence University ($1000 for conference travel).   The next deadline for submitting an application is January 15, 2023.  Additional information about eligibility and application procedures can be found here.  

Other Funding opportunities
There are numerous foundation grants available for early, mid-career and senior psychologists to conduct research on a variety of issues.  In addition, there are grants for teachers of psychology and there are foundation supported achievement awards.  Information about these funding opportunities can be found HERE.

EPA Program Committee
The Eastern Psychological Association (EPA) is accepting nominations for individuals to serve on its annual meeting program committee. For further information, click HERE.


As previously announced, the EPA Board of Directors approved a new membership fee schedule that will go into effect on September 1, 2022.  Until then, current members may renew their membership through the website at the current rates: $75 for Members, $30 for Associates, and $125 for Anniversary Members.  New members and associates also may join at the current rates before September 1.

The 2023 meeting in Boston promises exciting keynote lectures, and the latest scientific findings in the form of oral presentations, symposia, and posters.  And as usual, there will be plenty of opportunities for networking with colleagues and students.  The call for submissions will go out in September.  Don't delay in renewing your membership - pay before Sept 1 and save.
