Eastern Psychological Association (EPA), founded in 1896, is the oldest regional Psychological Association in the United States. Its sole purpose is to advance the science and profession through the dissemination of professional information about the field of Psychology. EPA achieves this goal by conducting its annual meeting where members present the latest advances in professional and scientific work to their colleagues. EPA welcomes psychologists from all fields across the discipline.
The annual EPA meeting allows researchers from all areas of psychology to present their work in the form of talks, posters, and symposia. Keynote speakers and invited speakers also present at the conference. In 2018, the conference will be held at the Downtown Marriott Hotel in Philadelphia, PA.
Attendance at the Conference
We expect approximately 2,000 people to attend the 2018 EPA conference. We expect about 800 of the attendees to be academic and professional psychologists. The others will be undergraduate and graduate students.
Exhibit Hours and Setup
Exhibit hours will be Friday March 2 thru Saturday March 3 from 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM EST. Setup time will be Friday morning 6:00 AM.
Booth Rental Fee
The EPA Board of Directors approved an increase in our rental fees this year to cover the increased costs to EPA of providing booths. Booth rental fee for the 2018 meeting in Philadelphia will be $1000. Rental includes one 8’ x 10’ booth, one skirted table, two chairs, 8’ high back draping, and 3’ high side drape. If payment and artwork are received by December 15, 2017 a ½ page advertisement in our 2018 program will be included at no extra charge. in addition, exhibitors' names will be scrolled continuously on our mobile meeting app, available free to all meeting participants. Finally, there are no registration fees for exhibitors and no limit on exhibitor badges.
