California School of Professional Psychology IMPACT Scholarships

If you’d like to advance your education in psychology, the California School of Professional Psychology (CSPP) at Alliant International University is offering $1,000,000 in scholarships to help you on your way.

IMPACT Scholarships will be awarded to psychology students pursuing a graduate degree in amounts ranging from $5,000 to $15,000. If you’re a new student who meets all admission requirements and has been fully admitted into an academic program within CSPP for the Fall 2021 term, we encourage you to apply for this generous scholarship.

The Deadline to apply is January 24, 2021.

  • • Applicant must be a new student who meets all admission requirements and has been fully admitted into an academic program within the California School of Professional Psychology for the Fall 2021 or August 2021 Term.
  • • Students enrolling in the Clinical Psychology PhD and Clinical Psychology PhD programs are eligible to receive awards of $10,000 or $15,000.
  • • Students enrolling in all other CSPP Programs are eligible to receive awards of $5,000.
  • • Applicants must have achieved a minimum of a 3.0 cumulative GPA in most recent college work. Scholarship awards will be tiered by GPA.
  • • Applicant must also complete a 500-word essay on how your CSPP education will allow you to make a positive impact at the community, state or national level. Essay should also address your commitment to one or more of the following Alliant Pillars: Education for Professional Practice, Scholarship, Multicultural & International Competence, and Community Engagement
  • • Priority consideration for awarding will be given to students who exhibit a level of financial need, measured by an Expected Family Contribution (EFC) of <$20,000 annual, as indicated from the FAFSA. Additional consideration will be given to students who demonstrate one or more of the following: • Are the first from their family to attend college
  • • Represent underserved populations typically underrepresented in graduate programs
  • • Exhibit a strong commitment to inclusion and multiculturalism
  • • Have demonstrated experience in community engagement supporting diverse populations
  • • Have demonstrated experience in the development of innovative and creative scholarly inquiry, research, or training designed to support diverse populations

  • • Students who receive Alliant tuition waivers or Alliant issued grants are not eligible to receive this scholarship
