Increasing Spatial Intelligence and Learning: How, Why, and How Much?

There is evidence that (1) spatial intelligence and learning are important; (2) spatial intelligence and learning can be improved, and that improvements show transfer; (3) there are sex-linked differences and SES-linked differences in spatial intelligence, so that addressing these differences is imprtant for social equity; (4) spatial intelligence and learning are critically under-studied; and specific educational techniques to folster spatial intelligence are within our grasp.
