LEAP Applications Year 3 opened yesterday and we are looking for both applicants and mentors for the upcoming cohort. You can find the calls below. Please spread far and wide. We will be doing a mass mailing throughout the application season so if you have ideas for places to find people relevant to these calls, please share with us and we can put them on our mailing list.

NSF CAREER Program
The NSF Faculty Early Career Development (CAREER) Program, an NSF-wide activity, offers awards in support of early-career faculty who have the potential to serve as academic role models in research and education. The Directorate for Education and Human Resources (EHR) accepts CAREER applications from PIs who plan to conduct research in STEM education, and an upcoming workshop is targeted for these applicants. Science faculty, including psychology, technology (including digital media), engineering and mathematics faculty interested in conducting research in STEM education are encouraged to attend the following information session. Conference Grants Available
APA's Board of Educational Affairs (BEA) will award $10,000 in grants to support conferences on enhancing the quality of precollege and undergraduate education in psychology and advancing the teaching of psychology at the secondary, 2-year, or 4-year level. To qualify for funding, conferences must be directed by an APA member, associate, or affiliate, and meet the stated criteria.
Grant recipients may use the funds to offset travel expenses of selected conference participants, registration fees of conference participants, and speaker fees. Applicants may qualify for up to $1,000 during a given year, and applications for new as well as annual meetings are encouraged.
